Stadelman Utility Bill Clinic, Feb 23, 4 to 6 PM

Stadelman conducts Feb. 23 clinic to help   consumers reduce utility bills   ROCKFORD  – Illinois State Senator Steve Stadelman has invited experts from the Citizens Utility Board to conduct a free clinic where local consumers can learn ways to reduce their gas, electric and landline telephone bills.   “Utility costs always take a bite out of people’s wallets in the dead of winter, and recent rate increases only add to the financial burden for families and seniors,” said Stadelman, D-Rockford. “This workshop offers a chance to learn about all the cost-savings options that are available.”   CUB advisors will offer one-on-one analysis of gas, electric and landline phone bills, information on spotting billing errors and incentives designed to help people improve energy efficiency.    UTILITY BILL CLINIC When:   4-6:30 PM, MONDAY, FEB. 23  (Arrive any time between 4-6 pm to see CUB advisor.)
