Support Gorski Nov. 6 I wanted to take the opportunity to thank Paul Gorski for holding a meeting at the fire station in New Milford Oct. 30 to give the neighbors of the Winnebago County Landfill an open forum to talk about their current concerns now that the county board members voted for the expansion. It is important to keep this issue alive because the problems still exist. Now that the landfill has the first local approval, it has gone back to business as usual. The smell is intense, the trash is blowing throughout the neighborhoods and the “clean-up” crews are nowhere to be found. This is exactly what the fight has been about since the beginning: the poor operation of the landfill with the trash and smell permeating one of the main entrances to our city...
