Barbara Olson Center of Hope Open House, June 26, 2013

The Barbara Olson Center of Hope is having an open house June 26, 2013. Below is excerpt from a recent email describing the event...

The Barbara Olson Center of Hope’s 65th Anniversary year is in full swing, and you’re invited to an Open House at the Center of Hope on Wednesday, June 26th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We’re inviting the entire community! The parents of the Center’s participants will be providing tours of the Center during regular business hours. They will explain the many unique programs and their benefits that our adults with developmental disabilities work through every day. You’ll have a chance to see our Occupational Therapy Clinic that is available to the public, our in-house businesses (Super Shredders and Hope Industries) at work, providing paid jobs and skills development for our participants.

We’d like to invite the community to celebrate with us and to acquaint people with the amazing programs and opportunities presented to our almost 200 participants on a daily basis.
Refreshments will be served. No RSVP is necessary, but if you have any questions, please phone Pam Sondell at the COH. Her number is 815-964-9275 ext 266.
You’ve wondered what we do here. Now come see for yourself and “Be in the Know”!
