Civil War Vets Honored Tonight at Greenwood Cemetary

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Hundreds of veterans are remembered for their service in the civil war.

502 vets are currently buried at the Greenwood Cemetery near North Main and Auburn Street. Tonight, around a dozen from our community are lighting the sky with make-shift lights in their honor. Participants say it's important to remember these vets because of their sacrifice to the united states...
