Turtle Tap robbery suspect in custody after 90-minute standoff

The suspect Beloit, Wis. police say robbed the Turtle Tap Sunday, Feb.
13, and a Beloit gas station two days earlier, is in custody.

Ernest Sanwick, age unknown, was arrested at approximately 8:55 a.m.
Monday, inside the Del-Mae Motel in Beloit.

Believing Sanwick was armed, Beloit Police officials were assisted by
the SWAT team while negotiators attempted to order him out of the
hotel.
